The Alchemist's Tale #gmtkjam

A Pokémon-like Rogue-like game with turn-based combat where you can join your monsters together to craft stronger (and cooler) ones!

You are a young alchemist who fights with and against monsters. You journey through various randomly generated regions and biomes and encounter unique monsters! You have the unique ability to combine monsters whenever you win a fight. This way you can create over 40 unique and funny monster combinations with plenty of unique abilities.

Every region contains a strong boss monster; defeat it and you can choose the next region to travel to. 

You get a highscore for every run.

Have fun trying to make the coolest monsters and come as far as you can!
